Where leaders in sync licensing and music for media take center stage
Sync Con, the premier Music for Media Experience, returned December 1–3, 2023, uniting powerhouse industry veterans, music supervisors, composers, and creatives shaping the sound of film, television, advertising, and video games.
The three-day experience began with a Welcome Mixer at REVEL Hollywood, where artists, executives, and attendees gathered to connect and set the stage for a weekend of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

The following two days took place at two of Los Angeles’ most iconic venues: the Centinela Valley Center for the Arts and Avalon Hollywood. The program featured thought-provoking panels, interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, live performances, and the Celebrity Basketball Tournament powered by NBA2K, where producers and songwriters faced off in a dynamic fusion of music, sports, and culture. The weekend also included the prestigious Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements in music for visual media.
Keynote speaker Brett Winn, Partner and Creative Director at The Refinery, opened the conference with insights into the evolving world of music in theatrical marketing, coaching, and educating Sync Con’s Sync Community. Additional speakers who trained the Sync Community through workshops and breakout sessions included executives and power house music supervisors from Disney, Paramount, Saatchi & Saatchi, Format Entertainment, Wild Card Creative, and Ignition Creative. Their marketing and sync music supervision rolodex spans Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dune, Avatar, Toyota, and more.

With over 1,000 attendees representing more than 20 countries, including participants from North America, the United Kingdom, South America, and Africa, Sync Con continued its mission to educate, inspire, and connect creators within the global sync ecosystem.
Day 3 concluded with an exclusive partnership with Marvel Games, featuring a private premiere at Avalon Hollywood with red-carpet coverage by Getty Images and premier media attendance. The event closed with a celebration of creativity, community, and music-for-media excellence.
“Sync Con and its Sync Community continues to bridge the gap between music creators and the sync licensing media world,” said Ade Olatunde of Sync Con. “From Marvel Games to NBA2K, we’re proud to bring together a global audience that celebrates both the art and the business of sync.”
