Kellesia Sharay is a visionary entrepreneur, healer, and author who has transformed her own struggles into a mission to empower others. Specializing in helping introverted women and children heal from depression and childhood trauma, particularly those raised in cult environments. She discovered the therapeutic power of gardening, even for those with no prior experience. Her personal journey began in unexpected ways. With a background in cosmetology, she had long been interested in beauty and transformation, but her deepest battles were within. Facing depression and the weight of painful childhood memories, she sought unconventional methods to reclaim her life.

It was in the soil of her garden that Kellesia found the answers. By nurturing seeds into flourishing plants, she realized that their growth mirrored the human healing process. Over time, she cultivated close to 80 different fruits, vegetables, and herbs while planting more than eight fruit trees. With each harvest, she not only witnessed the beauty of nature but also experienced the fading of depression and the quieting of childhood trauma. Gardening became more than a hobby. It became a pathway to freedom, resilience, and renewal.

Today, Kellesia Sharay shares her journey with others, guiding women and children to connect with nature as a source of empowerment and healing. Her programs and writings emphasize that gardening requires no prior skill; only patience, presence, and willingness to grow. By showing others how to find peace and restoration in the soil, she has created a legacy of transformation that goes beyond the garden bed. Her story is proof that healing can be cultivated, and that even the most wounded roots can blossom into strength.

A Season of New Growth

Over the past three months, I’ve experienced one of the most fulfilling seasons of my entrepreneurial journey. I am proud to share that I published eight books, including three children’s books and two coloring books. These projects represented more than just words on a page. They were extensions of my mission to heal and inspire. The children’s books, in particular, allowed me to speak directly to young minds and hearts, encouraging them to explore their imagination, find comfort, and understand that they are never alone in their experiences. The coloring books, on the other hand, offered a creative outlet for both children and adults to relax, reflect, and engage with the healing process in a gentle, accessible way. Each of these books connected to my core belief that creativity and growth go hand in hand with healing. Whether it was planting a seed, writing a story, or coloring within the lines, every act of creation nurtured the soul. Publishing eight books became a major milestone for me because it allowed my message to reach people far beyond my garden. It showed that healing is possible in many forms and that transformation can be sparked by simple yet powerful tools.

Adding to that season of growth, I also had the incredible honor of speaking on September 14 at an event hosted by the dynamic Taurea Vision Avant. That opportunity was deeply meaningful because it gave me the space not only to share my story but also to inspire others to embrace the healing power of growth, both personal and spiritual. Being on that platform allowed me to connect with people who may have been searching for hope, direction, or simply the courage to begin their own healing journey. For me, events like this were never just about speaking. They were about planting seeds of change in the hearts of those listening. Each word, like each seed, had the potential to grow into something life-changing if nurtured with care and intention. My greatest hope was that those who heard me speak left with the inspiration to begin their own healing journey, whether through gardening, writing, or another creative path. Looking back, I can truly say that this season was about expansion, connection, and continuing to cultivate spaces where healing could thrive.

Planting Seeds for the Future

Looking ahead, I’m excited to share that I am hosting a Books & Brunch event on October 26th from 12 to 3 PM at 6511 Church St., Riverdale, GA 30274. This gathering will be more than just an event—it will be an opportunity to connect, share, and celebrate growth in all its forms. I’m currently working on finding someone to design flyers that will include a QR code, making it simple for attendees to RSVP and access details.

During Books & Brunch, I’ll be selling my books as well as my handmade hair products created from the garden, showcasing the many ways nature has played a role in my healing and creativity. The event will also feature a raffle, adding a touch of fun and excitement for participants. Most importantly, I’ll be sharing my personal story, offering insight into how gardening, writing, and creativity have helped me transform trauma into strength.

This event is deeply special to me because it reflects everything I stand for—healing, creativity, and community. My hope is that every person who attends will leave feeling inspired, encouraged, and reminded that growth is always possible, no matter where you begin.
