<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As fall and Hispanic Heritage Month approaches there’s nothing better than having a <em>cafecito </em>with <em>pan dulce</em> to both honor Mexican culture and bring warmth to our <em>corazoncitos</em>. Mariachi Bakery Kitchen and Cafe brings a little piece of Mexico to California through its authentic flavorsome coffee, pastries, and food.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The owners are third-generation Mexicans in the family-owned bakery business and understand how heartwarming a piece of <em>pan dulce</em> and coffee can be. For many, sitting down together at the table and having a cup of coffee and bread is an act of love. That’s why Mariachi Bakery has an extensive menu offering a variety of Mexican <em>antojitos</em> that promise to bring comfort to your heart and satisfy the most demanding palate.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mariachi Bakery offers five different original and creative selections of coffee. Including the classics like <em>cafe de olla</em> and <em>champurrado</em>, lattes, cold brews, blended espresso frappes, and blended cream frappes. All include options with iconic Mexican flavors like<em> horchata</em>, <em>mazapan</em>, <em>dulce de leche</em>, <em>churro</em>, and <em>caramel flan</em> that with every sip can bring comfort to your heart. They currently have a selection of five <em>imprescindible</em> seasonal drinks for all the pumpkin spice flavor enthusiasts.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On their pastries menu, you can find twenty-five options of mouthwatering traditional <em>pan dulce</em> and nine options of delicious refrigerated desserts. The <em>concha</em>, a sweetened bread roll with a crunchy topping, and the <em>Horchata Tres Leches Cake</em> have been the most popular amongst the bakery’s customers. The <em>empanada</em>, crafted with a soft buttery puff pastry and filled with your choice of savory filling and melted Monterey Jack Cheese, has also been the spotlight of many customers on social media. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Located in the city of Norwalk and soon opening a new location in Downey, Mariachi’s Bakery offers a location where customers can enjoy their favorite or discover their new favorite Mexican delight. Structural issues with the old building and learning the nuances of using pressure fryers were some of the initial hurdles they faced. Despite the odds, they persevered, committed to their vision of creating the best fried chicken in LA. This resilience is reflected in their product – chicken brined in citrus, fried lightly with Wondra flour, and served with a sprinkle of fresh lemon zest and maldon sea salt.
